The annual Scout Shabbat was held Saturday May 26, 2007 from 7-9 P.M. in the Shlenker All Purpose Room, Beth Israel Synagogue. The Jewish Committee on Scouting recognized 26 youths who earned a religious emblem. 7 adults were presented the Houston Jewish Committee Service award and 7 received the Shofar Award recognizing outstanding service by adults.
